A flaw was found in libsoup. When reassembling fragmented WebSocket messages into a GByteArray, libsoup did not adequately cap total message size against the limits of the underlying buffer type. A remote peer could send fragments that caused size truncation while the implementation still used the full length, leading to heap corruption or a crash.

By modifying access control parameters for restricted features, an attacker can perform actions that were explicitly denied by the victim's configuration. This may result in unautho…
TeamViewer Full Client and Host for Linux prior version 15.82 contains an improper path validation vulnerability in the Cloud Session Recording (CSR) functionality. By exploiting a race condition during path validation and subsequent file access, a local authenticated attacker may cause privileged file operations in unintended locations on the affected system.
TeamViewer Full Client and Host for Linux and macOS prior version 15.82 contain a heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the processing of .tvs session recording files. A size mismatch during decompression of recorded session data can result in out-of-bounds heap writes. By convincing a user to open a specially crafted session recording through the "Play or convert recorded session…" feature, an attacker may achieve arbi…
Improper path validation in the local IPC service of TeamViewer Full Client and Host on Windows, Linux, and macOS prior to version 15.82 allows a local authenticated user with low privileges to perform arbitrary file writes with elevated privileges (NT AUTHORITY/SYSTEM \ root). By sending crafted IPC commands to the local service daemon, an attacker could manipulate file paths, leading to local privilege escalation.
In wsl-pro-service before 0.1.19ubuntu3, the service component which runs as root inside each WSL instance attaches the instance to Ubuntu Pro by executing the pro client with the Ubuntu Pro token passed as a command-line argument (pro attach <token>). On systems where /proc is mounted without process-hiding mitigations (such as hidepid), which is the default in WSL, an unprivileged local user or process in the same WSL insta…
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: x86/mmu: Check write tracking in all address spaces kvm_gfn_is_write_tracked() checks only the supplied memslot, but page tracking is per-address-space and shadow pages are shared across all address spaces. With SMM, a GFN can therefore be write-tracked in one address space and appear untracked through the other. Check the supplied slot first, then t…
Cryptography misuse in Storage: Quota Manager component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox ESR 153.4, Thunderbird 157, Thunderbird 153.4, and Firefox 157.
The native BSD-socket layer recorded a pending asynchronous socket error by type-punning it into struct net_context's void user_data field (ctx->user_data = INT_TO_POINTER(-status) in zsock_accepted_cb(), zsock_received_cb(), zsock_connected_cb() and zsock_close_ctx() in subsys/net/lib/sockets/sockets_inet.c), reading it back with POINTER_TO_INT(). That same field is owned by the network stack for listening TCP contexts: net_…
The ADC API requires each driver to reject a sampling sequence whose destination buffer is too small: the buffer_size field of struct adc_sequence in include/zephyr/drivers/adc.h documents that "the driver must ensure that samples are not written beyond the limit and it must return an error if the buffer turns out to be not large enough". The NXP MCUX LPADC driver did not honour that contract. mcux_lpadc_start_read() in drive…

ieee802154_send() in subsys/net/l2/ieee802154/ieee802154.c copies the outgoing packet into a single fixed 125-byte transmit buffer (tx_frame_buf_pool, sized IEEE802154_MTU). In builds with CONFIG_NET_L2_IEEE802154_FRAGMENT enabled (the default whenever CONFIG_NET_6LO is set), the branch taken when 6LoWPAN fragmentation is not required performed an unchecked net_buf_add_mem(frame_buf, pkt_buf->data, pkt_buf->len). The only gua…
The userspace verifier z_vrfy_rtio_sqe_copy_in_get_handles() in subsys/rtio/rtio_syscalls.c (subsys/rtio/rtio_handlers.c before v4.3.0) validated the RTIO object handle and the sqes input array, but not the handle out-parameter. On the first loop iteration it executed *handle = sqe, storing the kernel address of the newly acquired submission-queue entry through a pointer taken verbatim from user mode, with no K_SYSCALL_MEMORY…
In Wind River VxWorks 7 prior to 26.09, specific system call arguments can result in the process management subsystem failing to properly release allocated kernel memory before terminating the calling application. Fixed in Version 26.09
Wind River VxWorks 7 prior to 26.09, specific system call arguments can result in the IPNET subsystem failing to properly release allocated kernel memory and system file descriptors before terminating the calling application. Fixed in Version 26.09.
The decompress package for Node.js extracts archives. Prior to 10.2.2 and 11.1.4, the default decompress(input, output) API relies on lexical containment checks that do not account for the kernel following a planted symlink chain. An attacker can supply a crafted archive containing chained symlink entries so that a later entry resolves outside the output directory. This allows files outside output to be read or written, and o…
Incorrect credential cleaning on logout could be used by remote attackers to keep access credentials even after the account was logged out. Affected is SUSE Rancher 2.15 before 2.15.2.
A vulnerability has been identified within Rancher Manager where the Fleet agent wrote resources to downstream clusters using its own cluster-admin credentials instead of the ServiceAccount pinned to the deployment. It affects multi-tenancy environments where different tenants share the same downstream clusters, for example different privileged or untrusted teams inside the same organization. This could lead to overwritten co…
An unauthenticated update of public UI settings could be used by remote attackers to execute a stored cross-site scripting attack in the Rancher UI, in SUSE Rancher 2.15 before 2.15.2, 2.14 before 2.14.6, 2.13 before 2.13.10, 2.12 before 2.12.14 and 2.11 before 2.11.18.
A privilege mismatch was found in Fleet. When a bundle requested namespace labels or annotations through the namespaceLabels and namespaceAnnotations options, the resulting namespace metadata update was not subject to the same authorization as the rest of the bundle's deployment. As a result, a bundle could change labels and annotations on a target namespace even when the identity it was pinned to was not authorized to modify…
A vulnerability was discovered in Fleet's Git webhook receiver (the gitjob webhook service). When a webhook secret is not configured, incoming webhook requests are accepted without verification, and processing a request can change the spec.pollingInterval field of a matching GitRepo resource in any namespace. A caller with network access to the webhook service and no Kubernetes credentials can therefore alter GitRepo configur…
A cross-tenant authorization issue was discovered in SUSE Rancher Fleet. During agent-initiated cluster registration, cluster labels supplied by the registering agent, including labels in the reserved management.cattle.io/ namespace such as the cluster display name label, were applied to the resulting upstream Cluster object. Because Fleet resolves GitRepo and Bundle targets from those cluster labels, a party able to register…
Incorrect authorization in the custom storage volume creation endpoint in Canonical LXD versions 5.0.0 and later (fixed in 5.0.10, 5.21.8 and 6.10) on Linux allows an authenticated client with permission to create custom volumes in a project to copy, and so read, any custom storage volume from any other project on the server, including its snapshots and configuration. The client does this with a crafted request that sets a so…
A user who can supply bundle content to a repository referenced by a GitRepo resource, for example through Git push access, or through permission to create or modify a GitRepo, can cause SUSE Rancher Fleet to read files from the filesystem of the environment that processes the bundle and include their contents in the generated Bundle resource. This can expose configuration or credential material that the user has no Kubernete…
Improper link resolution in the recursive file pull feature of the LXD CLI client in Canonical LXD versions 4.0.2 up to 6.9 (fixed in 4.0.14, 5.0.10 and 5.21.8) on Linux allows an attacker with root access inside a virtual machine to write attacker-controlled files or directory trees to arbitrary paths on the client host, with the operator's privileges. The attacker does this by using a modified lxd-agent that returns inconsi…
