RosarioSIS before 12.9.2 contains a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability in modules/Food_Service/MenuReports.php that allows unauthenticated attackers to inject attributes via unescaped menu_id and modname parameters. Attackers can lure a logged-in administrator to a crafted Modules.php link whose double-quoted menu_id injects an onmouseover handler, stealing session and CSRF tokens to act as the administrator.

RosarioSIS before 12.9.1 contains a missing authorization vulnerability that allows authenticated teachers to write records for students outside their course period by supplying arbitrary student IDs. Attackers can modify the st_arr, values, or attendance POST arrays in MakeReferral.php, EnterEligibility.php, InputFinalGrades.php, and TakeAttendance.php to create referrals, eligibility codes, attendance and final grades for a…
If an attacker can write to the filesystem of a container k8s cluster container, they can plant an exec credential plugin in /etc/kubernetes/admin.conf. kubectl will run that plugin as the macOS host user the next time someone pulls the cluster's kubeconfig onto the host with container k8s write-config or create and then runs kubectl against it — turning filesystem access inside an untrusted Linux container into arbitrary com…
A flaw in Node.js TLS hostname verification can cause a server certificate to be validated against a different IP address than the one the client connected to, when the host is a non-canonical IPv4 literal with a leading zero, such as `0127.0.0.1`. `tls.checkServerIdentity()` normalizes the host following the WHATWG URL rules, which read a leading-zero octet as octal (`0127.0.0.1` becomes `87.0.0.1`), while the connection is…
An issue in Nitro Software, Inc Nitro PDF Pro for macOS v.14.7 allows a local attacker to execute arbitrary code via a crafted PDF
baserCMS is a website development framework. In versions 5.0.0 before 5.3.2 and 5.4.0 before 5.4.2, the widget-area entity serializes widgets only when the submitted value is an array, allowing a string submitted through the admin JSON API to be stored unchanged. Entity reads, including front-end rendering and API responses, deserialize the stored value with unserialize() without an allowed_classes restriction, accepting both…
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: always return -EIOCBQUEUED after btrfs_uring_read_extent_endio If all bios finish before btrfs_encoded_read_regular_fill_pages() returns, it calls btrfs_uring_read_extent_endio() and previously returned the I/O status. A negative errno then made btrfs_uring_read_extent() unlock and free while btrfs_uring_read_finished() did the same again. Return -…
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: fix xattr replace when multiple xattrs are packed in the same item If we have a btrfs_dir_item item that packs multiple xattrs and then we replace the value of one of them (with the setxattr(2) family of syscalls) with another value of a different size, we end up not having a fully initialized btrfs_dir_item, resulting in a corruption that the tree c…
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: adau1372: allow sleepy powerdown GPIOs gpiod_set_value() emits a WARN when the GPIO provider indicates that it can sleep, as is typical for I2C controlled GPIO expanders. Since the powerdown GPIO is only manipulated in process context, use the _cansleep variant instead. This lets the driver use sleepy GPIOs to power off the chip.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ext4: don't enable large folios on encrypted inodes Commit 709f0f1f1bf5 ("ext4: add checks for large folio incompatibilities when BS > PS") disables large folios at mount time if the "encrypt" feature is set. However, enabling that feature on a mounted filesystem circumvents that check, and writing encrypted data results in a crash: BUG: kernel NULL poin…
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/damon/ops-common: use a page-aligned address in damon_ptep_mkold() __damon_va_prepare_access_check() picks a random byte address within the region and stores it in r->sampling_addr. damon_va_mkold() passes it into a page table walk, which hands it to damon_ptep_mkold() as the address of the page to sample: damon_va_mkold(mm, r->sampling_addr) dam…
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ima: return error early if file xattr cannot be changed During early boot, the filesystem is read-only and any changes to xattrs are not allowed. This fails in case of ext4 because changing xattr starts an ext4 transaction which fails with the following warning. WARNING: fs/ext4/ext4_jbd2.c:75 at ext4_journal_check_start+0x63/0xa0 [ext4], CPU#1: systemd-sy…
Wasmtime before 24.0.13, 25.0.0 before 36.0.14, 37.0.0 before 46.0.3, and 47.0.0 before 47.0.4 allows a filesystem sandbox escape in wasmtime-wasi because its cap-std dependency mishandles symlinks with trailing slashes on macOS and Linux kernels lacking openat2. A guest with write access to any sandboxed directory can read and write any host-accessible file, and read-only guests may read host files via preexisting symlinks.
Incomplete validation of extracted archive entry paths in ast-cli's tar extraction logic on Linux and macOS (used when installing the Vorpal ASCA real-time engine and the SCA Resolver) would allow a malicious tar archive containing absolute or traversal path entries to write files outside the install directory. Windows builds were not affected, as the Windows extractor performs this path validation. Exploitation required s…
OCO-Server is a self-hosted endpoint management application for computer inventory, software deployment, and mobile device management. Prior to 1.2.3,the Apple MDM enrollment endpoint `frontend/api-mdm.php` verifies the signed enrollment-request plist with `openssl_pkcs7_verify(..., PKCS7_NOVERIFY, ...)`. `PKCS7_NOVERIFY` disables signer certificate chain and trust validation, so the signature only has to be self-consistent w…
EDK2 contains a vulnerability in BIOS where a user may cause “Out-of-bounds Write”, Classic Buffer Overflow, and “Incorrect Calculation of Buffer Size” by remote access. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability can lead to arbitrary code execution. It could also impact Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability.
CleanShot X for macOS insecurely deserializes untrusted data embedded in a .cleanshot project file (editable screenshot annotations). Exploitation requires an attacker to craft a malicious .cleanshot file, deliver it to the target, and have the target open it; the payload then executes automatically during parsing, resulting in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Users who have never opened a .cleansh…
Penta Security WAPPLES 4.0.54.1, 5.0, and 6.0 contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers to download arbitrary files via the name parameter of /webapi/file/transfer. Attackers can send GET requests with type=db_backup and ../ sequences in name to read files like /etc/passwd, and a hardcoded systemi account makes authentication effectively trivial. Exploitation evidence was first observed by th…
A cleartext storage of sensitive information vulnerability in WatchGuard Endpoint Security's Full Disk Encryption feature for macOS allows a local, unprivileged user or process to obtain a managed computer's FileVault Personal Recovery Key by reading a persistently written diagnostic log file left readable by all local users.
